What is Jesus Groupie?
Mission Statement
To create a Christian business and positive movement based on the Groupie concept with emphasis on our motto, SAVED & FLY! Many people don't think of style when they think of Christians unless of course, it's "Christian Dior". JesusGroupie.com specializes in creating a network and platform for hip, talented, urban believers; as well as offering a Christian alternative to trendy "slogan-wear" and jewelry. Our ultimate goal is to be a positive Christian vessel for anyone who wants to uplift and improve their lives and the lives of others...in the name of Jesus!
Inspiration
JesusGroupie.com was inspired when its Founder and CEO, Jocelyn Saunders witnessed an uncomfortable situation. An adult in a church chastised a teen girl for wearing a sloganed T-shirt that advertised what he considered to be an inappropriate message. Jocelyn didn't get involved in the conversation but she immediately imagined how differently the conversation could have gone. If Jocelyn had chosen to interject, she would have asked the teen to describe the general meaning of the slogan. That was the light bulb moment that sparked the idea for Jesus Groupie Inc. Jocelyn would have taken that opportunity to flip the inappropriate slogan to one with a positive message within a Christian context. We (Christians) shouldn't have to conform to the world...make the world conform to us! We all know that popularity and belonging to a group is important for people of all ages. So Jocelyn thought, "Why not take this one step further?" She set out to create a website community for people who are not only proud to be believers, but are also humbly ambitious, stylish without conceit, and beautifully full of love. Being a Christian doesn't mean you can't have fun with fashion. It doesn't mean that you can't go out and have a good time. It does mean living a full life by remembering to always keep God at the CENTER.
Jesus Groupie Inc. puts a positive spin on the word Groupie. Be Christ's #1 fan! Be down for whatever with the one that bled and died for your sins. Take pride in your relationship with Him. Find strength in your faith!
